What You'll Do

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding workflows, including coordinating in platforms like Deel, Gusto, Rippling, and Bill.com
  • Support payroll processing, timesheet and compensation updates, documentation, and benefits administration
  • Assist with multi-state HR compliance — researching requirements, maintaining documentation, and flagging risk

What We're Looking For (Key Qualifications)

  • 2–5 years of HR experience
  • Resourceful self-starter who can figure things out, ask the right questions, and execute with minimal hand-holding
  • Extremely detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to catch even small discrepancies, recall process requirements, and identify potential risks
  • Hands-on experience with payroll platforms — Gusto, Rippling, Deel, or similar
  • Familiarity with multi-state employment compliance
  • Experience supporting or managing onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Exposure to employee handbook development or HR policy writing
  • Comfortable working in Google Workspace and Slack daily
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and clear dissemination of HR policies
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, contract management, and record keeping
  • Ability to adapt to change management initiatives while maintaining focus on strategic human resources objectives.
  • Discretion and professionalism as you'll be working with sensitive employee data across multiple organizations

Nice to Have (Bonus)

  • Experience supporting a consulting firm, staffing agency, or multi-client environment
  • Use of AI tools such as Claude, Perplexity, and ChatGPT as well as others
  • Experience with various ATS tools as well as any of the following: Trainual, Avoma, Employee Navigator, HubSpot, Zoom, Ramp, Ninety, Fountain, Loxo, Airtable, Supabase, Aircall
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

Compensation & Structure

  • $30–$40/hour, commensurate with experience
  • Part-time or contract engagement
  • Temporary with potential to be permanent
  • Fully remote
  • Flexible scheduling within core business hours
