Belvedere Trading, a leading proprietary trading firm located in the Chicago Loop, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support our People Team. This position will provide HR support to all levels of the organization and help contribute at an operational level. The primary functions of this position include employee relations, benefits administration, and a variety of HR-related projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization where you can make an immediate impact.

What you'll do

  • Act as the first point-of-contact for employee inquiries and provide superior customer service
  • Provide support and guidance to supervisors regarding day-to-day people-related matters
  • Ensure that firm policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Assist with performance review administration
  • Assist in the implementation, administration, and communication of benefit programs
  • Help maintain Human Resource Information System (HRIS - Paycom)
  • Gather, analyze, and report data in a clear, organized format
  • Support fundamental paperwork processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and evaluation/survey management
  • Process and reconcile employee expense reimbursements
  • Respond to employment verification requests
  • Oversee coordination of training equipment and lab
  • Classroom management such as recording, editing, and posting classes on our LMS
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll need

  • 2+ years of HR experience within a corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • A resourceful individual with the ability to be effective independently and drive your own workload
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Highly organized with superior attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work and deliver under pressure when required
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Experience with Paycom a plus
