What this job involves

We're seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to develop and implement effective supply chain strategies that optimize costs and delivery of excellent services to meet or exceed expectations. This role will drive value through strategic sourcing initiatives while maintaining expected high quality and service standards. The position offers engagement in a highly collaborative team environment with opportunities for talent development and career advancement.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Perform market analysis including trends, benchmarking, and spend analysis to identify savings opportunities
  • Develop and align sourcing strategies within assigned categories
  • Lead cross-functional stakeholder teams through sourcing events (RFXs), data analysis. supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations
  • Communicate effectively with leadership to drive optimal decision-making
  • Collaborate with Facilities Management and Operations teams to execute sourcing plans
  • Draft and amend contracts adhering to organizational standards and client requirements
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions
  • Provide guidance to facility management and operations teams on sourcing and supply chain activities
  • Collaborate with and support Supply Chain and Vendor Management Operations teams in the areas of supplier relationships, SLA/KPI tracking and business review meetings
  • Support Finance team in budget planning and forecasting
  • Drive continuous improvement opportunities for process and procedures, adhering to best practices and mitigating risk.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years of direct experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Demonstrated experience developing and negotiating supplier contracts
  • Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate and determine optimal pricing structures
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong process development and execution capabilities
  • Excellent project management abilities
  • Deep understanding of supplier management and service integration
  • Exceptional planning, organization, and performance under pressure
  • Leadership skills for managing internal and external expectations to meet deadlines
  • Advanced interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification (CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or similar)
  • Project management experience or certification (PMP or similar)
  • Experience with Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) and Capital Project Management
  • Proven success achieving cost savings through complex contract negotiations
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in procurement

Proficiency with:

  • E-procurement systems (Jaggaer)
  • Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Industry platforms (Aravo, Avetta, Corrigo)
  • Business Intelligence technology for data analysis and visualization

Estimated compensation for this position:

72,000.00 – 82,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
