Role Overview

Compass Surgical Partners is seeking an Implantable Device Specialist to bring centralized expertise, consistency, and operational discipline to implant management across our network of ambulatory surgery centers.

This role will serve as a key partner to center administrators, procurement, revenue cycle, and operations teams by ensuring implant data is accurate, contracts are optimized, and implant-related processes are managed efficiently from procurement through billing. The Implantable Device Specialist will help reduce administrative burden at the center level while improving data integrity, cost visibility, audit readiness, and overall financial performance.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with ASC or hospital supply chain experience who enjoys solving operational challenges, improving processes, and serving as a trusted resource for field teams.

What You'll Do
  • Manage and maintain implant item master data across enterprise systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency

  • Review, validate, and update implant records to support procurement, inventory management, billing, and reimbursement processes

  • Partner with center administrators, procurement, revenue cycle, and operations teams to resolve implant-related issues and discrepancies

  • Support implant contract management efforts by maintaining contract documentation, reviewing pricing structures, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization

  • Monitor implant logs and documentation to improve compliance, audit readiness, and reporting accuracy

  • Investigate data inconsistencies and identify root causes to improve workflows and prevent recurring issues

  • Provide guidance and support to center teams on implant costs, purchasing processes, and vendor-related questions

  • Develop and maintain reporting, tracking tools, and process documentation related to implant management

  • Support ongoing initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency, data quality, and operational performance across the enterprise

  • Assist with implementation and optimization of materials management and procurement systems

What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in implant coordination, surgical supply chain, materials management, or a related healthcare operations role

  • Experience within an ambulatory surgery center, hospital, or healthcare provider environment

  • Knowledge of implantable medical devices and related procurement, inventory, and billing workflows

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

  • Experience maintaining item masters, product catalogs, or similar supply chain data repositories

  • Proficiency with Excel and healthcare supply chain or procurement systems

  • Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and implement practical solutions

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across clinical, operational, and administrative teams

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining responsiveness and accountability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field

  • Experience supporting multi-site healthcare organizations

  • Experience with orthopedic, spine, cardiovascular, or other high-volume implant categories

  • Experience with ENVI, HST, or similar materials management platforms

  • Familiarity with GPO contracts, implant pricing analysis, and vendor management

  • CMRP or other healthcare supply chain certification
