Houzz is looking for an Implementation Specialist who will play a role in delivering a seamless onboarding experience for our Custom pros by managing the migration of data from their existing systems into our platform. You’ll work closely with customers post-sale and prior to the initial onboarding meeting to understand their business needs, gather and assess their data, and ensure it is cleaned, formatted, and imported into Houzz Pro. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating across teams, facilitating consultations, and acting as a trusted partner to help our pros hit the ground running. You’ll be working to migrate various types of data, such as leads, clients, vendors, cost codes, and estimates, ensuring everything fits within the structure of our system.
You should have a base understanding with data in spreadsheets (Google, Excel, etc) while also being comfortable speaking directly with customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, fast-moving, and self-sufficient. Able to juggle multiple migration projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality. What You’ll Do
- Collaborate closely with Custom Pros post-sale and prior to onboarding to assess data migration needs and set expectations
- Host customer-facing calls when necessary to gather requirements, clarify data formats, and ensure a smooth transition into Houzz Pro
- Clean, format, and manipulate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compatibility with Houzz Pro’s system requirements
- Work cross-functionally with onboarding, sales, and product teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize the customer experience
- Serve as the point of contact for data migration questions, providing responsive, friendly, and professional customer support
- Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes and progress for internal tracking and customer communication
- Operate with a high level of independence, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timeliness
- Communicate effectively with accounts via phone and Salesforce
At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have
- Base understanding in Excel/Google Sheets for importing and organizing project data
- Analytical thinker who looks for (and finds) answers in the data to drive improvement in performance
- You have exceptional interpersonal skills
- You have patience and enthusiasm for explaining complex concepts to a diverse audience
- Goal-oriented self-starter with multiple examples of success
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
