We are currently seeking a dynamic Independent Sales Representative to join our growing Sales team.

The Role:

The Independent Sales Representative will represent the Dorfman Milano brand across their designated region. These reps will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, maximizing territory sales, and serving as brand ambassadors at trade shows and retail visits.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage accounts within the assigned territory by building strong relationships with retail buyers and key decision-makers.
  2. Drive sales growth by meeting or exceeding revenue goals through regular client visits, product presentations, and outreach.
  3. Identify, qualify, and contact potential customers through various channels (e.g., cold calling, email, networking).
  4. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to engage customers, understand their needs, and present our products.
  5. Promote product lines through in-store meetings, direct market product proposals, and trade shows.
  6. To support product development and marketing efforts, provide market insights and customer feedback to internal teams.
  7. Communicate with Director of Sales and EVP by maintaining accurate records of sales activities, client feedback, order status, and unresolved customer issues.
  8. Represent the brand professionally, acting as a trusted ambassador of Dorfman Milano at all customer-facing touchpoints.
  9. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales leadership and customer service, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and client satisfaction.
  10. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven track record in sales, preferably outdoor and resort accessories.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with all levels of leadership, and external partners.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented
  • Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation.
