The Industry Engagement Coordinator will support the planning and execution of successful industry events that promote HNTB’s brand and relationship building efforts across multiple markets and geographies. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organized and collaborative, and will take personal responsibility for making success happen.

What You'll Do:

  • Tracks conference sponsorship benefits and coordinate with the Industry Engagement Director to ensure HNTB is taking full advantage of opportunities to build our brand.
  • Tracks conference abstracts and coordinates with the Industry Engagement Director to ensure HNTB is fully capitalizing on opportunities to convey thought leadership.
  • Provides deliverables to conference organizers in advance of deadlines.
  • Creates or manages the creation of attendee briefing presentations, executive briefing packets, attendee reminders, etc.
  • Organizes and distributes attendee registration lists as needed.
  • Reviews and continuously updates Microsoft Teams Channels for each Tier 1 industry organization.
  • Supports onsite efforts at conferences and events as needed, including coordinating check-in tables, exhibit booths, tours, taking photos, etc.
  • Coordinates additional events related to HNTB’s presence at industry conferences, including dinners, client meeting rooms, off-site venues and other needs as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business or related field, or
  • In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Teamwork/collaboration
  • Highly organized self-starter who possesses can-do attitude
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects simultaneously

What We Prefer:

  • Prior experience in organizing and coordinating professional events.

The approximate pay range for Illinois is $58,185.46 - $87,278.19. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
