The internship involves supporting influencer marketing campaigns, developing written materials, managing social media strategies, and collaborating with digital creators for engagement.
Vocal is seeking interns for a unique, fast paced and creative opportunity to support influencer campaigns on behalf of our impact-focused client organizations. This internship is a 3 month program from June-August 2026.
Responsibilities
- Support digital marketing campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, Snapchat, X, etc. through creator sourcing, negotiation and other creator-facing communications.
- Develop compelling written materials to achieve program goals, including creator messaging guidance and reports that are tailored to the needs of progressive organizations.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging trends across social media to ensure high-quality and timely content.
- Work closely with digital creators to develop creative and engaging content that meets campaign brief requirements and results in high engagement and performance.
- Attend 3-4 mandatory internal weekly calls
Qualifications
- Professional, personal or volunteer experience in electoral campaigns, organizing, social media, or content creation
- Great organizational, task management & communication skills with a strong self-sufficiency commitment to follow-through
- Time management abilities, and agility in managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously under strict deadlines
- Understanding of an ever-changing social media landscape and the strategies and tactics that lead to high-performing impact content.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to tailor messaging to key niches or audiences depending on client goals.
- Experience with Google Drive and CRMs a plus, willingness to learn if not familiar is required
- A passion for working within progressive spaces and a strong cultural competency.
