TradingBlock is seeking an outstanding Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and drive the development and maintenance of our network and firewall systems. If you have experience building high-quality network infrastructure and security systems for trading or brokerage operations, we want to talk to you. You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the network that powers our trading platform.
What You Will Do, Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain network infrastructure including Arista switches and firewalls critical to trading and brokerage operations
- Build security foundations and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Ensure platform reliability and scalability
- Expand and maintain observability and monitoring infrastructure (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of low-latency, high-throughput solutions
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality solutions
What You Will Bring, Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in network engineering ideally with Arista switches in the Financial Services or FinTech domain.
- Experience with dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
- Proven experience deploying and maintaining firewalls in a production environment
- Systems monitoring and security foundations
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate well, and work effectively in a team environment
Experience with the following is a plus:
- Experience with PIM multicast network operation and troubleshooting
- Linux configuration and support
- Experience with network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, etc)
- Python scripting
- Experience with Ansible or other network automation systems
- Security and compliance certifications
- Experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar)
