Job Description

The position of Inside Sales Engineer has the responsibility of providing technical and application assistance to TEC customers and internal employees on TEC represented products as well as developing proposals and technical/order documentation for projects. It is a fast-paced work environment with bonus earning potential, and a unique combination of engineering and sales. The following details are not definitive and subject to change based on organizational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a working knowledge of technical aspects of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) mechanical equipment represented by TEC.
  • Provide technical and application assistance to TEC customers and employees.
  • Generate complete and accurate proposals, submittal documents, and order documents.
  • Provide back-up assistance to the outside sales force.
  • Training for TEC represented products will be provided.
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
  • Minimum two years HVAC experience
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office suite)
  • Well organized, attention to detail, and self-motivated
  • Team oriented and a good problem-solver
Education and Experience

Engineering Degree or two years of HVAC experience required

An interest in technical sales and advancement in the company

Salary & Location Expectations

Minimum starting salary of $55,000

Salary based on experience with bonus opportunities.

In-person fulltime in either Tinley Park, IL or Melrose Park, IL

Preferred Qualifications
