Job overview:

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing a team of Inside Sales Representatives to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and support Genetec’s channel-centric go-to-market strategy. This role oversees day-to-day sales operations, ensures high-quality pipeline generation, and collaborates closely with field sales, marketing, channel partners, and customer support to maximize Genetec’s market presence across all product lines, including Security Center, cloud offerings, and related solutions.

Your day at a glance:

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and coach a team of Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs)
  • Set performance expectations, KPIs, and development plans to ensure continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-ones, and performance reviews
  • Foster a collaborative, data-driven, customer-focused team culture
  • Oversee inbound and outbound sales activities to ensure robust lead qualification and opportunity creation
  • Ensure the team meets pipeline quotas and supports revenue targets for assigned territories
  • Maintain high standards of responsiveness, follow-up, and opportunity management within the CRM
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers to align inside sales efforts with field strategies
  • Support Genetec’s channel partners (integrators, distributors, VARs) by ensuring ISRs provide timely product information, quotes, and opportunity updates
  • Guide ISRs to strengthen relationships with end users and partners through proactive communication
  • Help ensure partner compliance with Genetec programs, pricing structures, and certification requirements
  • Monitor inside sales metrics (lead conversion rates, call activity, pipeline velocity, etc.) and present performance data to leadership
  • Work with Marketing to optimize lead distribution, nurture programs, and campaign follow-through
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and data integrity in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices
  • Partner with Product Management to enable ISRs on updated features, roadmap, and value propositions
  • Work with Customer Service and Technical Support to ensure seamless handling of pre-sales inquiries
  • Coordinate with Finance & Operations to support pricing approvals, quote accuracy, and sales processes

What makes you a great fit:

  • 5–10 years of experience managing a sales region or territory with proven success in meeting revenue targets
  • Demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams, including coaching, mentoring, and developing people
  • Strong onboarding skills with the ability to accelerate ramp-up time for new team members
  • Solid understanding of CRM systems and B2B sales processes
  • Experience with regional planning, forecasting, and executing against revenue goals
  • Skilled in analyzing pipeline, performance metrics, and regional sales data to drive strategy
  • Ability to work effectively across departments and contribute to strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate strategy, performance, and expectations
  • Comfortable interfacing with senior management and representing the inside sales function
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
