This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on day-to-day sales, account growth, and customer interaction.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing customer relationships, processing orders, and driving incremental revenue through account development and product recommendations. This role focuses on day-to-day sales execution within an established customer base, with an emphasis on repeat business, upselling, and customer satisfaction.

Compensation - Hourly $24-$28 an/hour plus a monthly incentive bonus

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and B2B customers to drive repeat business
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs
  • Actively manage and grow existing accounts through consistent follow-up and customer engagement
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to generate sales and support customer orders
  • Qualify customer needs, provide accurate pricing/quotes, and close sales opportunities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and present product solutions aligned with their requirements
  • Learn and confidently communicate product knowledge to support customer decisions
  • Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, operations) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Manage multiple orders, requests, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide a high level of customer service while maintaining a focus on revenue generation

Requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • 1–3 years of inside sales experience, preferably in B2B distribution, building materials, or industrial environments
  • Proven ability to generate sales, upsell products, and grow customer accounts
  • Strong phone presence with confidence in handling sales conversations
  • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of customers (contractors, builders, etc.)
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
