Inside Sales Representative 

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers while providing critical support to the Knowles Sales team, Manufacturer Representatives, and Distribution Partners. This role partners closely with Customer Service, Product Management, and Sales teams across the globe to drive revenue growth, manage customer inquiries, and deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities 

Support Pre-Sales Activities and Opportunity Management 

  • Facilitate pre-sales activities, including Requests for Quotes (RFQs), design registrations, sample requests, and other customer requirements. 
  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Product Management to secure approved pricing aligned with customer and business strategies. 
  • Utilize Knowles systems and analytical tools to support annual contract negotiations, evaluate RFQs, and manage design registration opportunities. 
  • Proactively nurture sales opportunities and leads through regular customer engagement, focusing on conversion and revenue growth. 
  • Assist with purchase order verification, pricing discrepancies, and credit/debit transaction resolution. 

Build and Strengthen Customer Relationships 

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts, responding to RFQs, sample requests, quality concerns, accounts receivable inquiries, and other customer needs. 
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer organizations, key stakeholders, and decision-making processes. 
  • Collaborate with RSMs to execute account strategies and identify opportunities to increase market share within assigned accounts and territories. 
  • Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner. 
  • Deliver a high level of customer service by understanding customer needs and providing responsive support on every interaction. 

Drive Business Growth and Sales Performance 

  • Follow up on quotations, lost business opportunities, and customer demand trends to maximize sales effectiveness. 
  • Work with RSMs and distribution partners to establish a closed-loop process for tracking and analyzing lost business. 
  • Engage directly with customers to understand business cycles, product demand, and emerging opportunities. 
  • Analyze sales data and trends to identify growth opportunities and address performance gaps. 
  • Support forecasting activities, pipeline management, and demand planning initiatives. 

Travel 

  • Travel as needed to customer sites, manufacturing locations, manufacturer representative offices, and distributor locations. 

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inside sales, customer support, account management, or a related commercial role. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze information and make sound business decisions. 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. 
  • Fluency in English required.
