With a mission to entertain, inspire, and create significant social impact, Beast Industries operates across various domains including digital media, philanthropy, consumer products, and innovative business initiatives. At Beast Industries, we believe in the transformative power of digital media and its potential to entertain, educate, and effect positive change. Our commitment to innovation, creativity, and philanthropy drives us to explore new frontiers, create unforgettable experiences, and build a legacy that inspires future generations.

The Role

Beast Industries is expanding beyond its core consumer brands into new business lines - including subscription, tech, and additional new ventures - and this growth has increased the need for rigorous, fast-moving consumer research to inform how those businesses take shape.

The Insights Senior Manager will serve as a strategic advocate for the consumer's voice across the organization - not just executing against research requests, but shaping how leaders think about their consumers in categories that often lack established data or precedent. This person will own consumer research end-to-end: partnering with marketing and business leaders to scope ambiguous business questions, designing and running qualitative and quantitative studies, and managing a portfolio of external research vendors across multiple concurrent projects.

This person will operate comfortably at both a tactical level (survey design, data analysis) and a strategic level (framing business problems, executive influence), and will act as a thought leader for the Insights function - proactively bringing new frameworks, methodologies, and perspectives that sharpen how the org understands its consumers.

What You'll Do
  • Lead consumer research supporting new subscription, tech, and other emerging ventures, including categories without established customer data or precedent.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions from cross functional partners into clear, actionable research briefs and study designs.
  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies.
  • Leverage industry reports, syndicated data, and secondary research to drive clarity quickly, reserving custom primary research for questions that require it.
  • Write research briefs and RFPs; select, brief, and manage external research vendors and agencies.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent vendor-run studies, managing timelines, budgets, and quality across partners.
  • Manage consumer testing programs from planning through reporting.
  • Translate research findings into actionable recommendations and influence senior stakeholders' decisions,  including when findings challenge existing assumptions.
  • Bring forward new research approaches, industry trends, and consumer thinking proactively, not just in response to requests.
  • Present insights clearly with a bias to action to cross-functional and executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the existing Insights team to balance priorities across businesses.
What You'll Bring
  • 6+ years in consumer insights or market research, with significant experience owning research end-to-end in a senior capacity.
  • Background in subscription/membership businesses, telecom, CPG, or insights consulting preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both a tactical level (survey design, data analysis) and a strategic level (framing business problems, executive presentation and influence).
  • A track record of acting as a thought leader,  introducing new research methods, frameworks, or points of view that shaped how a business understood its customers.
  • Fluency in using industry/syndicated reports and secondary data sources to answer questions efficiently, alongside strong primary research design skills.
  • Experience designing research approaches for businesses with limited historical data or established consumer understanding
  • Experience managing multiple external research vendors simultaneously, including vendor selection, briefing, and performance management.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research background.
  • Ability to synthesize complex research into clear, executive-ready business recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple concurrent research efforts.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Innovation, and Strategy.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.
