The Insights Strategist is a subject matter expert, partnering with commercial and production teams to design, scope, and price new custom services. The Insights Strategist works closely with sales teams, prospects and clients to understand needs and act as a subject matter expert in designing Insights solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conducts comprehensive assessments of inbound Insights opportunities, analyzing and evaluating potential projects or initiatives to determine their viability and alignment with the company's goals and capabilities.
Designs customized service solutions that meet the specific needs and requirements of clients, leveraging industry knowledge, best practices, and a deep understanding of client objectives to develop tailored solutions.
Scopes and evaluates the costs associated with the designed solution, considering factors such as resources, time, and materials, to provide accurate and reliable cost estimations that support effective project planning and budgeting.
Effectively communicates the value proposition of the solution to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits, unique features, and competitive advantages, using persuasive and clear messaging to articulate the value that the solution brings to the client's business or organization.
Communicates the various work components and other relevant details to production staff, ensuring a clear understanding of project requirements, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to facilitate efficient and effective execution of the solution.
Occasionally produces prototype solutions that showcase the proposed service solution, utilizing design expertise, tools, and technologies to create functional and visually appealing prototypes that demonstrate the capabilities and potential of the solution
Qualifications:
3+ years relevant business experience working in the realm of PR/Comms Measurement, Social Intelligence/Digital Research, Digital Marketing or Market Research with demonstrated success
Commercial experience selling to Fortune 1000 companies
Strong client-centric mindset and demonstrated ability to understand and support priorities and needs
Invests in relationships with clients and colleagues
A strategic, curious thinker with the ability to summarize business requirements, and translate technical and methodological details into benefits-driven sales documents
Proactive problem solver with curiosity and creativity; embraces challenges and change
A sense of autonomy, ownership and dedication to internal/external client success and growth as an individual, a team and a company
Thrives on collaboration; ability to provide and incorporate thoughtful feedback into deliverables
Interested and adept at supporting customers and prospects from a wide range of industries
Aptitude to understand media and social intelligence technology and how to maximize its effectiveness
Experience consulting on methodologies, solution design, best practices
Strong written, verbal, presentation and demonstration skills
Ability to ask for help when needed
For Individuals based in New York, Illinois, Colorado, Washington, and California, Cision is required to disclose a salary range for this role. This compensation range is specific to these states, however base pay may vary depending on a range of relevant factors.
