About Get Covered LLC

We provide cost-effective coverage with just a few clicks — satisfying residents, property managers, agencies, and distribution partners with a process that is as simple and touchless as possible.

About the role

Get Covered is looking for a P&C Insurance Product Specialis who is ready to become our resident subject matter expert. If you are someone who genuinely geeks out over policy forms, analyzes real-world liability for fun, and loves turning insurance complexity into elegant coverage solutions, you’ll fit right in.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical insurance mechanics and operational delivery. You will work across policy documentation, claims analysis, underwriting workflows, and cross-functional initiatives to ensure our coverage programs remain competitive, compliant, and seamless for our clients.

What you'll do

  • Coverage & Policy Operations: Review policy documentation, support quoting workflows, and ensure accurate enrollment verifications and coverage determinations across all active programs.
  • Claims & Technical Support: Serve as an internal escalation point for complex coverage questions, claims reviews, and nuanced loss scenarios, ensuring fast, fair, and accurate resolutions.
  • Product Insights & Gap Analysis: Dive into loss runs, claims data, and client inquiries to spot coverage gaps, emerging risk trends, and opportunities to enhance existing products or launch new ones.
  • Client & Partner Touchpoints: Deliver high-touch, consultative support for insureds, claimants, and distribution partners on technical policy matters.
  • Process & Workflow Optimization: Partner with Product, Operations, and Customer Support teams to streamline information flow, automate recurring checks, and refine documentation.
  • Subject Matter Leadership: Develop an exhaustive understanding of Get Covered’s policy forms, endorsements, and program rules to serve as the go-to resource across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Licensing & Experience: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required, alongside 2 to 4 years of direct experience in insurance operations, underwriting support, policy administration, or product analysis.
  • Technical Policy Acumen: High comfort level reading, interpreting, and applying policy wording, standard endorsements, and manuscript provisions.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to look at claims data, loss scenarios, or operational friction points and translate them into actionable product recommendations.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Clear, articulate communication skills to explain complex insurance concepts to both technical partners and non-insurance stakeholders.
  • Ownership & Adaptability: A proactive, self-directed attitude that thrives in a dynamic environment where priorities can evolve quickly.

Why Get Covered?

  • Collaborative Culture: You’ll wear multiple hats, but you’ll never wear them alone. We have an open, collaborative, supportive team where questions are encouraged and wins are shared.
  • Direct Impact: Your findings and feedback will directly shape the evolution of our core insurance offerings and client experience.
  • Growth Opportunities: Broad visibility across insurance operations, technology, and partner management, giving you the runway to advance your insurance career.
  • Benefits: Unlimited PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision, Voluntary Life Insurance, 401K, Paid Holidays, Equipment (laptop, keyboard, monitors, etc.), Career-Pathing, and more.
