The Integration Operations Analyst is responsible for safeguarding and optimizing the flow of information between systems through proactive monitoring, intelligent automation, and continuous improvement — enabling reliable, scalable, and future-ready integrations across the enterprise.  This role sits at the intersection of business operations, IT, and data systems, owning the operational health of integrations between critical platforms such as ERP, WMS, CRM, Finance, and Support Systems. The Integration Operations Analyst uses AI-driven monitoring tools, trend analysis, and cross-system insights to identify potential disruptions before they occur, recommend long-term solutions, and guide integration strategy. This position collaborates with internal teams and external vendors to optimize how information flows across systems — ensuring that technology integration supports seamless business execution across entities and departments.

CORE FUNCTIONS

Intelligent Integration Monitoring

  • Oversee system integrations, data feeds, and scheduled jobs in near-real time using advanced monitoring and AI-assisted anomaly detection tools.
  • Detect failures or performance degradation early, preventing disruption to business operations.
  • Monitor and manage integration error queues, ensuring timely triage and resolution of failed transactions or syncs.

Advanced Error Triage & Resolution

  • Analyze and classify integration failures (data, configuration, code, or external API-related).
  • Apply both manual and automated methods to correct failed transactions or data flows.
  • Escalate recurring or complex issues to development teams or external vendors with clear, structured documentation.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive “playbook” of known issues, resolutions, and AI/automation opportunities for self-healing processes.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Predictive Prevention

  • Conduct in-depth RCAs to uncover underlying causes of recurring issues and identify patterns or trends using data analytics and AI insights.
  • Proactively forecast potential integration risks or bottlenecks based on observed trends.
  • Recommend architectural or process-level improvements to prevent recurrence and enhance integration resiliency.
  • Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and Business Systems teams to validate and implement sustainable fixes.

Strategic Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partners with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Support, and IT teams to ensure integration meets business needs across all entities and departments.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders, translating system behaviors into actionable insights.
  • Provide recommendations during technology evaluations or ERP transitions to ensure integration, scalability and compatibility.
  • Engage with vendors and third-party technology partners to resolve integration challenges, align on system capabilities, and optimize connector performance

Continuous Improvement & Future-State Design

  • Leverage insights from trend data, AI analytics, and incident metrics to propose enhancements in integration design, automation, and error prevention.
  • Recommend process improvements and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that streamline integration management across the organization.
  • Contribute to the long-term integration roadmap by assessing new technologies or integration frameworks for fit and feasibility.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to develop AI-driven retry mechanisms, error-handling logic, and predictive alerting systems.

Documentation & Communication

  • Maintain detailed, up-to-date documentation of integration points, data flow, dependencies, and known failure scenarios.
  • Produce concise yet comprehensive incident summaries, RCA reports, and operational health metrics (e.g., MTTR, error recurrence, uptime).
  • Communicate integration health and improvement initiatives clearly to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in integration operations, business systems analysis, or enterprise data management.
  • Deep understanding of system integration concepts (APIs, ETL, middleware, webhooks, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience monitoring or supporting integrations between major enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, CRM, Finance).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to detect patterns and anticipate system impacts.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills, able to translate technical findings into business insights.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate technical discussions with external partners.
  • Experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Power BI) to monitor data flow health and communicate integration performance metrics.

Preferred:

  • Experience using AI-driven monitoring or observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, or custom ML-based alerting).
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or automation scripting.
  • Experience in multi-entity or global enterprise environments.
  • Background in eCommerce, manufacturing, or logistics operations preferred.

Required Licenses

Valid Driver’s License.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
