Job Summary

We currently have an opportunity for a Summer 2025 Intern at the Melrose Park Production Facility to join the Environmental, Health, and Safety Team.
Salary Range: $19.00 - $22.00/hour
Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Compile and report ISO data for ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001 certifications.
  • Assist with employee awareness events and sustainability initiatives.

SMART Goals:

  • S: Collect and analyze ISO data for accurate reporting.
  • M: Provide monthly updates and reports.
  • A: Leverage available company resources and guidance.
  • R: Ensure the site remains compliant with ISO standards.
  • T: Complete the project by the end of the summer internship.

Community Outreach Project:

  • Interns will be put into groups and be responsible for finding a local nonprofit organization to put together a community service day with.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university program; pursuing a related business field degree;
  • Be classified as a minimum of a sophomore; and
  • Must be planning to return to school at the end of his/her break
  • Must commit to 8-10 weeks of internship
  • Field of Study: Environmental Management, Science based fields, Sustainability, or related fields
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and certification processes.
  • Skills: data analysis, reporting, and communication
