Are you passionate about the legal field and eager to gain hands-on experience in legal recruiting? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Legal Recruiting Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide general assistance to our summer associate and on-campus interview programs.

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: May 2026 – August 2026

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the coordination and execution of summer associate and on-campus recruiting programs.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates, law schools, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide support in organizing events, meetings, and other recruiting activities.
  • Reserve conference rooms for summer associate activities.
  • Research event venues and catering options.
  • Solicit summer associate feedback.
  • Assist with interview scheduling and logistics.
  • Organize the collection of student interview feedback.
  • Prepare materials for hiring committee meetings.
  • Greet candidates for summer associate interviews.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to recruiting activities.
  • Track and process summer event expenses.
  • Process student and vendor reimbursements.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Actively enrollment in undergraduate university strongly preferred.
  • Prior professional experience preferred.
  • Available to work full-time during the summer and part-time once school resumes.
  • Ability to work overtime and outside of regular business hours.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to other local offices.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Good judgment and accountability for delivering excellent service.
  • Highly organized and exhibit a high-level attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The hourly rate for this position in the Chicago market is $25 per hour. Salaries in other markets will vary depending on market data.
