Intern - Marketing Performance Analyst

The Opportunity

The Marketing Performance and Analytics Intern is detail-oriented and motivated to support the Marketing team in understanding the effectiveness of marketing strategies to reach Velera’s total addressable market. This position will conduct data exploration exercises, develop processes and reports, identify key metrics and perform research to support demand generation, thought leadership, content strategy and growth-related campaigns and promotions. This role will collaborate with business leaders and use strong communication skills when preparing and presenting materials to internal business partners.

Day in the Life

• Collaborate with marketing teams to understand current market strategy and opportunities for further growth.

• Build strong relationships with cross functional teams to identify requirements and use cases in order to create meaningful data/reports

• Develop processes to extract, manipulate and validate data for usage in data tools and data visualization platforms

• Evaluate performance against key goals and metrics to identify/recommend/implement optimizations to increase the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotions impacting marketing contribution to sales

• Perform all other duties as assigned

Over the course of this 11-week program, June 1 – August 14, 2026, it is VELERA's goal to provide our interns not only with a real job experience that better prepares future graduates for their chosen profession, but to provide them the knowledge and experience vital to navigate a business environment.

In our program, interns will engage with a group of their peers in acquiring a knowledge foundation in Credit Unions, the financial industry, Six Sigma, preparing for a job search, presentation skills, and more. You will also be given opportunities to network directly with industry leaders at Velera.

Velera Intern Program Entry Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program – upperclassmen and graduate students preferred.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate thoughts, communicate, completely, and concisely.

• Strong, organizational, and detail skills, with the ability to consistently perform as business requests.

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Ability to adjust easily when directions and priorities change on short notice.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite® with a heavy emphasis on Excel.

• Proficiency in software that applies to your major and function-specific internship.

• Passion for learning the Credit Union Industry.
