Compensation: $20.00/ hour
Duration: June 2, 2025 - August 8, 2025 (10 weeks)

The Opportunity

Reporting to the MidWest sales team based in Chicago. The Sales Summer Intern will be responsible for providing comprehensive sales planning for key advertising clients: identifying new business opportunities, evaluating market research, and assisting with client presentations.

The Daily To-Do

  • Source new sales leads and assist with the initial reach-out process
  • Evaluate client research & identify meaningful learnings & insights
  • Building meeting decks
  • Participate with the Sales team in client events and face-to-face meetings
  • Work closely with the digital ad ops team to monitor results and optimize campaigns
  • Basic understanding of the SSP ecosystem

Qualifications

  • This year, we’ll be prioritizing candidates who are rising undergraduate seniors or who are pursuing postgraduate studies. All interns are required to be eligible to work in the U.S. with no visa sponsorship.
  • This is a client-facing/team-oriented role, therefore communication, collaboration, professionalism, and strong written and verbal skills are required
  • Extremely strong work ethic and drive
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a professional setting as well as with internal partners
  • Strong Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Confidence and personality which will build strong relationships
  • A strong interest in media, programmatic media 
  • Currently enrolled or have a four-year college degree with demonstrated work ethic and successful teamwork
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment and ability to multitask
