Title: Industry Marketing Intern
Reports to: Director, Industry Marketing
Location: Chicago, IL or Buffalo Grove, IL

Primary Function:
Manage development and implementation of the go-to-market strategy for assigned customer segment(s). Acts advocate for assigned customer segment(s) and for the Industry Marketing Team
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the database team to learn what data is available for business/segment analysis
- Request and analyze data on SIC behavior in order to select up to three different four-digit SIC segments to focus on
- Understands the key drivers, and needs of selected customer segment(s) via research.
- Project - Develop a marketing plan(s) using both digital and traditional marketing channels to grow up to three different four-digit SIC segments.
- Retention - primary
- Acquisition - secondary
- Work across marketing areas to gain knowledge and apply it to marketing plans
- Meet with manager to ensure the final project is on target to be completed properly and on-time
- Present an integrated marketing plan on how to grow one SIC segment
Qualifications:
- Graduate with a marketing degree from a four-year higher-education institution or
- Senior at a four-year higher-education institution majoring in marketing
- Interest in B2B marketing
- Powerpoint and/or Google Slides knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
