The Role

The Professional Services Operations Intern will support Fusion's Director of Professional Services Operations to ensure that Fusion has the right resources at the right time to deliver on our incoming and existing PS engagements. This role will also assist in process improvement to ensure Professional Services has scalable and sustainable data integrity.

This is a paid undergrad or post-grad internship position with the availability for flexible hours if needed for your school schedule. When approaching the end of the internship, the option for a full- time position will be evaluated but is not guaranteed and should not be expected.

Key Responsibilities

 Assist in a variety of Professional Services projects including:

  • Sales pipeline analysis
  • Project staffing
  • Professional Services capacity planning
  • Client success metrics

What You'll Learn

  • How Salesforce.com is used to link the operations activities between Sales, Professional Services, and Finance.
  • How to ensure that data from disparate sources is accurate, structured and current.
  • How to translate data analysis into recommendations that steer the Professional Services decision-making process.
  • How to leverage Salesforce.com reporting and dashboards as a communication method.
  • If you want and are able to work enough hours to do so, you will have the ability to complete a company sponsored Salesforce.com certification. This is an extremely marketable job skill and certification to have.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Enrolled in a, or graduated from, a 4-year undergraduate degree program, with a concentration in a related field
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, with experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Deep critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized with high levels of personal accountability
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Salesforce.com or Force.com experience preferred but not required
  • Some database experience (i.e. MS Access, any SQL-based database) experience is a plus
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a graduation date of 2022 or earlier
