Human Resources - Talent Acquisition Intern (paid)
Location: Chicago, Illinois (remote)
This position will also be remote through at least May 2021, due to COVID-19.
Hours: Flexible, 20-40 hours per week
CSC Corptax is seeking a self-motivated, inquisitive, and adventurous candidate to join our Talent Acquisition Team for a paid internship within our Human Resources department in our Chicago office.
This position is an opportunity to partner in developing and expanding our Talent Acquisition Intern Program from start to finish, as well as support the candidate and new-hire experience for our full-time hires. Internship responsibilities include resume reviews, scheduling interviews and meetings, collecting feedback, and seeing a new hire through from offer to their first day. There will also be an opportunity to partner and learn from other HR teams throughout your time with CSC Corptax.
Some of the things you'll learn from us:
• How to schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, submit background screens, and compliantly onboard new full-time employees.
• An understanding of the CSC Corptax business culture and benefits so you can make recommendations to attract and engage candidates for our various open full-time positions.
• This position will have the opportunity to work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to support the recruiting and hiring of full-time employees through candidate engagement efforts, Diversity and Belonging recruiting initiatives, and employment brand strategies.
• You'll have the opportunity to learn from other HR teams as well—just speak up about what interests you, and we'll make time for you to learn, develop, and grow with us.
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
• Currently attending or have recently completed a college program with a focus on business or management related studies.
• Must possess strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other related applications).
• Enjoy working in a team environment, but able to excel at independent tasks.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and easily adaptable to change.
• Candidates with experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where you have the latitude to problem-solve and make quick decisions would be most successful in this role.
