Role Overview
F6 Ventures is seeking an Investment Associate to support the investment activities across sourcing, evaluation, execution, portfolio management, and fund operations. This entails having an active role throughout the investment lifecycle, from identifying promising startups and conducting due diligence to supporting portfolio companies and contributing to fundraising and investor relations activities. We’re looking for someone who combines strong analytical and financial skills with curiosity and a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Sourcing & Investment Evaluation
- Source and evaluate potential investment opportunities across priority sectors and markets.
- Build and maintain a strong network within the startup, investment, and innovation ecosystem.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence activities.
- Participate in founder meetings and assess investment opportunities.
- Prepare clear and concise investment memos and presentations for management and the Investment Committee.
Transaction Execution
- Support deal structuring, negotiations, legal documentation review, and transaction execution.
- Coordinate with founders, legal counsel, co-investors, and other stakeholders throughout the investment process.
- Manage investment opportunities from initial evaluation through closing.
Portfolio Management
- Monitor portfolio company performance and track key operational and financial KPIs.
- Prepare portfolio reviews, investment updates, and performance reports.
- Support portfolio companies in fundraising, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities.
- Evaluate follow-on investment opportunities and prepare investment recommendations.
Fund Operations & Ecosystem Engagement
- Support fundraising activities, investor reporting, and LP communications.
- Maintain investment records, portfolio databases, and reporting systems.
- Represent F6 Ventures at ecosystem events and contribute to strengthening the firm's presence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity or investment banking.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French and Arabic are considered a strong advantage.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to effectively leverage AI and technology tools to enhance research, analysis, and productivity.
