About the role: 

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office (Arden Hills, MN or Marlborough, MA) at least three/four days per week. 

 

Relocation and housing assistance may be available to those who meet the eligibility criteria.

As an IT Analyst Intern at Boston Scientific, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills to meaningful business challenges while gaining hands-on experience across our organization. 

Our IT interns have worked on a variety of projects that reflect the diversity of IT at Boston Scientific. The Boston Scientific IT organization values your experiences and ideas and believes in providing opportunities for you to contribute from day one.  


Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Applying business analysis, user experience, data analysis, data visualization, project management and product management skills to real business problems. 

  • Achieving a specific outcome on an IT team during the 12-week program. Examples may include developing a chatbot to help employees navigate internal IT support resources; designing and implementing a vendor evaluation dashboard to support strategic sourcing decisions; developing a product security controls request repository and workflow automation tool; or using business intelligence software and data analytics to connect and visualize data for business partners. 

  • Completing a group project with other IT interns focused on solving a real problem for Boston Scientific employees. Examples may include automating cybersecurity alerts to reduce errors and improve response time; designing and implementing tracking solutions to manage reimbursement strategies and market access initiatives with greater clarity and efficiency; or streamlining capital equipment tracking and callback workflows to reduce errors and generate savings. 

  • Partnering with functional teams such as Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, Research and Development, Sales, Operations, and Quality to deliver high-priority business outcomes. 

  • Participating in opportunities such as executive panels, team building events, training, volunteering, employee resource groups, and global partnerships within Boston Scientific. 

  • Being considered for a full-time position in our two-year TLDP rotational program, where we cultivate future IT leaders who use agile, lean startup, user experience, and product-based practices to deliver digital solutions to business problems. 


Required Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date of Fall/Winter 2027 or Spring 2028 in the following major(s): Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Analytics, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence for Business. 

  • Available to participate for the full duration of the following 12-week internship program: May 24th-Aug. 13th, 2027. 

  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. 

  • Reliable transportation to and from 300 Boston Scientific Way, Marlborough, MA 01752, or 4100 Hamline Ave. N., St. Paul, MN 55112. Boston Scientific does not provide transportation or transportation support to and from its locations.

Minimum Salary: $58,240.00

Maximum Salary: $60,320.00


The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.


Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).


Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
