Reporting to the Director of IT Sales and Trade, you will serve as a strategic technical leader responsible for architecting and advancing the data landscape that supports Sales and Trade. You will enable business growth by designing scalable data solutions across commercial functions including Trade Performance, Strategic Pricing, Business Development, Sales and Trade Finance, Category Leadership, and eCommerce. You will partner with business leads, product owners, solution architects, enterprise architects, data scientists, and data engineers to ensure seamless data integration, transformation, and usability across SAP systems, Databricks, Palantir, and additional enterprise platforms. 

 

A Taste of Your Responsibilities 

  • Design and direct end‑to‑end data architecture for Sales and Trade, with emphasis on high‑impact commercial capabilities such as Trade Optimization, Post Event Analytics, Price Pack Architecture, Strategic Pricing, Planogram, Assortment, Daily Sales Reporting, Trade Funding, and Trade Promotion Analytics. 

  • Develop and improve SAP and Palantir data models including S4/HANA, BW/HANA, SAP Trade Promotion Management, Trade Management Application, and trade and finance ontologies to ensure data is structured and accessible for business users. 

  • Lead integration efforts across SAP, Palantir, Databricks, Informatica IICS, Mulesoft, Power BI, APIs, and other enterprise systems, with familiarity in Circana data models as a plus. 

  • Lead and mentor Systems Analysts, Senior Systems Analysts, and Engineers in developing and enhancing data pipelines, ontologies, and code across front‑end and back‑end systems while fostering growth in SQL, Databricks, HANA, and Palantir. 

  • Promote automated data validation and monitoring practices to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability. 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, data scientists, and IT teams to understand business needs and deliver innovative solutions. 

  • Establish and maintain data governance, security, and compliance standards across enterprise data platforms. 

  • Oversee performance and reliability of data workflows and proactively resolve data issues. 

  • Present solution options to business partners and collaborate with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to research and recommend technology strategies. 

  • Ensure non‑functional specifications support operational agility, disaster recovery, and production support, and contribute to cutover planning and release management. 

 

Ingredients Required for Your Success 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Architecture, or related field; an advanced degree is preferred. 

  • Seven or more years of experience in IT architecture or systems supporting Sales and Trade with leadership experience across SAP S4/HANA, BW/HANA, Trade Promotion Management, Trade Management Application, Databricks, Palantir, and similar platforms. 

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python or PySpark for data transformation. 

  • Experience with Databricks, Informatica IICS, Mulesoft, Power BI, and API integrations. 

  • Experience designing and improving ontology models and ETL processes. 

  • Experience within Consumer Packaged Goods and familiarity with Circana data models is preferred. 

  • Demonstrated success mentoring technical teams, leading cross‑functional initiatives, and delivering results in a matrixed environment. 

  • Preferred experience with user experience design principles, agile methodologies, enterprise software licensing, and JIRA or Confluence.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$93,200-$135,700

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
