As the IT Operations Specialist II, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our organization’s IT systems and infrastructure while delivering an exceptional, people-first technology experience. You approach IT as a service function—balancing strong technical ownership with empathy, clear communication, and a customer-centric mindset. This is a hybrid role based in Summit, NJ, requiring regular in-office presence to support employees and IT operations.

What you get to do every day
- Act as a trusted IT partner by proactively understanding employee needs and translating them into reliable, scalable, and user-friendly technology solutions.
- Maintain technical ownership of the Pharmacy Management System infrastructure, including vendor relationship management, issue escalation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide white-glove end-user support, resolving hardware, software, and access issues with a strong focus on user experience, communication, and follow-through.
- Support and maintain enterprise platforms including Okta, Google Workspace (GWS), 1Password, Zoom, Workday, FreshService, Slack, and other SaaS tools.
- Administer and support MDM solutions including Microsoft Intune and Kandji, as well as Apple Business Manager (ABM), ensuring devices are secure, reliable, and easy for employees to use.
- Own and continuously improve IT onboarding and offboarding experiences, ensuring new hires feel supported from day one and departures are handled smoothly and securely.
- Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to implement tools and workflows that remove friction, improve productivity, and scale with the business.
- Operate and maintain core SaaS systems, balancing system reliability, security, and usability.
- Support IT solutions that scale and automate business processes, including SSO, MDM, ticketing systems, and access management, while keeping the employee experience front and center.
- Thrive in an Agile environment, contributing ideas and improvements that enhance both service quality and operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the role
- 2+ years of professional experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, or a related role OR a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong customer service mindset, with a genuine desire to help others and improve their day to day technology experience.
- Working knowledge of Okta, Google Workspace, 1Password, Zoom, and common SaaS productivity tools.
- Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Intune and/or Kandji, including macOS and Windows device management.
- Familiarity with Apple Business Manager (ABM).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues while communicating clearly and calmly with non-technical users.
- Solid understanding of IT security principles, including access control, encryption, and threat detection.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
