We are currently seeking a Portfolio Product Manager with a strong understanding of AI features and governance processes. You will play a crucial role in managing a collection of off-the-shelf software products by identifying gaps, prioritizing needs, and delivering innovative features that empower our consultants to provide professional services to our clients.

You will engage with stakeholders to understand their business needs, research and select functionalities within existing and new platforms, implement these solutions, and collaborate with West Monroe consultants (your customers) and Shared Services colleagues to optimize the use of the solutions in the portfolio.

What you’ll do:

AI Integration and Governance:

  • Maximize the value of AI features in SaaS applications within the portfolio.
  • Define and implement an AI governance process.
  • Conduct AI governance reviews of new applications and features.
  • Stay updated on process and IT advancements within AI.

Portfolio Management:

  • Respond to requests for new software tools.
  • Monitor tool usage within the portfolio.
  • Maintain a roadmap of initiatives for platforms and tools.
  • Avoid redundant solutions and reduce licensing costs.
  • Identify valuable integrations among platforms.

Stakeholder Engagement and Enablement:

  • Understand business needs and gather end-user feedback.
  • Identify emerging needs and gaps among solutions.
  • Promote tools and AI features internally.
  • Collaborate with UX and learning teams for feedback and training content.
  • Facilitate product owner groups across the firm.

Implementation and Support:

  • Select, procure, and implement new platforms and software tools.
  • Stay aware of new and changing functionalities to improve service delivery and productivity.
  • Coordinate the development of learning materials for end-users.
  • Coordinate legal and cybersecurity reviews of new applications.

Strategic Planning and Budgeting:

  • Propose and negotiate project priorities based on needs and impact.
  • Budget and forecast for procurement and operational costs.

What you’ll bring:

Education and Experience:

  • BA in computer science, business, engineering, or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience with SaaS products and services.
  • Understanding of consulting firm business models.
  • Technology implementation project management experience.
  • Proficient with agile lifecycle management tools (Jira preferred).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to apply agile product management to IT portfolio management.
  • Experience with hybrid work environment tools.
  • Strong vendor communication and management.

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role is listed below. Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
