The IT Procurement and Contracts Analyst role drives procurement strategies for Digital Services. This position is responsible for drafting and negotiating high-value contracts, ensuring optimal terms and conditions. This role over sees contract renewals and execution, maintaining precise and comprehensive contract and procurement records. The role manages vendor relationships to secure the best pricing and contracting outcomes. Work is performed with minimal supervision and rarely receives guidance.

Responsibilities:

  •  Participate in developing and maintaining the overall purchasing process for Digital Services, to include POs/PRs, vendor quotes, acquisition of hardware/software/services, invoice routing for approvals and others as required. 
  • Administers financial arrangements with vendors to include billing, invoicing, performance/penalty adjustments and internal chargebacks, where appropriate. 
  • Draft and negotiate DS contracts that align with business requirements and standards. 
  • Review DS contracts to ensure validity and enforceability. 
  • Resolve DS contract disputes while minimizing business risk. 
  • Manage DS contract execution and renewals, optimizing contract terms and conditions. 
  • Oversee the development and accuracy of Software Licensing and cloud subscription usage metrics to ensure compliance. 
  • Oversee the maintenance of DS contract and procurement records, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing audit assurance. 
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms and build strong long-term relationships.
  • Provide solutions for procurement issues, balancing business needs and costs effectively. 
  • Foster and manage supplier relationships, ensuring the quality of goods and services provided. 
  • Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs. 

Mentorship  

  • Provide mentorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help less experienced team members develop their skills and grow within their roles. 

Skills and Competencies  

  • Exceptional negotiation and drafting skills are required to handle contracts and vendor communications. 
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities for resolving contract disputes and procurement issues. 
  • Proficient in managing supplier relationships and resolving procurement issues. 
  •  Demonstrated competence in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier relation-ship management. 
  • Ability to provide guidance to junior staff members and operate with limited supervision. 
  • Proficient ability to solve complex problems and manage large projects with minimal supervision.

Experience  

  • Typically, a minimum of 8 years of related procurement work experience or related is required. 
  • Prior experience leading large-scale projects and making decisions at a strategic level. 
  • Experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts. 

Education  

  • A degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience is required. 

Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future. 

Location A:  $118,000 - $161,000

Location B: $130,000 - $177,000
