The Senior IT Project Manager will oversee project delivery, manage stakeholder communication, coordinate with teams, and ensure project alignment with goals and timelines.
ITTConnect is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to
work on site for a client in the Columbus, OH area. This is a potentially long
term position with a client that is a global leader in consulting,
digital transformation, technology and engineering services with over 300,000
team members in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the energy sector.
Job location: Columbus, OH.
This Technical PM will drive accountability and
ownership on multiple internal initiatives for Middleware. We need people who
have managed large programs/projects that require heavy coordination across
cross-functional teams and can really drive schedule and budgets.
Ideally PMP
Certified with good exposure to Project Financial and Risk management aspects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate Project Delivery ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Create & maintain comprehensive project documents to ensure clarity and transparency throughout the project
lifecycle in accordance with established project governance.
- Coordinate IT, Business Unit (BU), and vendor review
meetings, ensuring effective follow-ups on action items and progress.
- Track and coordinate the progress of the client's tasks and activities.
- Report project status to the Executive team in order to assess risks, issues, and
impediments.
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders regarding
project progress, challenges, and strategies for resolution.
- Promote continuous improvement activities within the project
team to enhance quality and optimize value delivery.
- Establish regular cadence for meeting with the teams to
monitor progress
Requirements
- Proven experience in Project management,
preferably in a technology-focused environment.
- Quick learner and gets familiar with
program vision.
- Ability to conduct Executive-level meetings with stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Experience with middleware projects.
- Strong understanding of Waterfall,
Scrum/Agile principles and Kanban methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and strong
communicator (written and verbal).
- Experience with managing a cross
functional team that includes both full-time and part-time team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively with
diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with project documentation
and management tools, such as Jira, is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the
ability to manage risks effectively.
