As an IT Specialist, you will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. You'll be an integral part of the IT team, and providing support with maintaining, upgrading, and managing our IT systems, ensuring smooth daily operations.
You will be working directly with users at our corporate offices as well as distribution and manufacturing facilities.
Occasional travel within the United States may be required for onsite support, training, or special projects.

IT Specialist

As an IT Specialist, you will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. You'll be an integral part of the IT team, and providing support with maintaining, upgrading, and managing our IT systems, ensuring smooth daily operations.

You will be working directly with users at our corporate offices as well as distribution and manufacturing facilities.

Occasional travel within the United States may be required for onsite support, training, or special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems and applications
  • Assist with user account setup and access permissions
  • Maintain and update IT documentation and inventory records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding process for employees
  • Investigate complex issues and escalate to senior IT staff as needed
  • Monitor and respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner
  • Help maintain network security and data backups

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) (2-5 Years)
  • Understanding of Windows 10/11, Windows Server and MacOS operating systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, VMWare, and basic networking concepts including Wi-Fi and Cellular technologies.
  • Experience with Backup solutions including Veeam and Azure.  
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with both IT staff and end users.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to move and lift equipment up to 50lb as needed.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems including Freshdesk
  • Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell)
  • PHP or web development experience.

Pay Range:

64,000.00 - 96,000.00
