Zip is looking for a capable, self-driven IT Support Specialist to be the face of IT in our NYC office. This role is perfect for someone who likes ownership and autonomy in a fast paced environment that pushes you to learn while doing. Your goal in this position is making people happy while creating simple and repeatable solutions for all.
You WillBe the primary technical presence in our NYC office, owning Zoom & conference equipment, Wi-Fi, printers, and Mac hardware/software.
Provide general IT support to Zip employees (helpdesk, troubleshooting, etc.) for local employees in NYC and a small satellite office in London.
Onboard and offboard employees, which includes: leading new hire orientations, provisioning and deprovisioning hardware, accounts, and access.
Manage laptop lifecycle logistics – provisioning, shipping, receiving, and asset tracking.
Administer and integrate cloud services (e.g., Google Workspace, Azure AD/M365, Slack, Okta, Jira, Zoom, and many more).
Partner with Workplace on desk deployments, office changes, and the employee journey; coordinate with InfoSec on device compliance.
Write and maintain runbooks and SOPs so the site runs smoothly.
3+ years of corporate IT experience.
Ability to be onsite 5 days a week in our Chelsea NYC office, and lift & move equipment up to 50 lbs (shipments, monitors).
Deep understanding of computer fundamentals and hands-on troubleshooting: hardware and software (Mac, Windows, Kandji/Iru, Intune) & cloud technologies (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Okta, Azure AD/M365).
A positive attitude and excitement for building new processes and policies for a rapidly growing organization.
Experience working with remote teams and multiple offices globally, while using tools like Slack or Zoom to support them.
Uses AI tools effectively to speed up support, scripting, and documentation.
Experience with automation workflows and scripting is a plus.
The salary range for this role is $127,500 - $157,500. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
