Position Overview
The IT Systems Analyst is responsible for implementing new business systems and optimizing existing applications to support organizational goals. This role partners closely with stakeholders across all departments—including Finance, Operations, and IT—to gather requirements, evaluate technology solutions, and ensure successful system deployments. By leading end-to-end implementation, providing technical and functional expertise, and driving process improvements, the IT Systems Analyst enhances operational efficiency, ensures compliance, and enables teams to leverage technology for strategic growth.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads full project lifecycle for business systems and ERP implementations—from kickoff through post-go-live support.
- Implements new business applications and integrates them with existing systems to meet organizational needs.
- Configures and optimizes ERP modules and related applications to align with business workflows.
- Collaborates with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and evaluate technology solutions.
- Analyzes business processes and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency and system performance.
- Develops documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures for implemented systems.
- Provides functional and technical expertise across ERP and enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoots production issues and ensures timely resolution in accordance with SLAs.
- Ensures compliance with IT SOX controls, including access management, change control, and quarterly access reviews.
- Delivers end-user training and ongoing support to promote adoption and maximize system value.
- Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Defines and prioritizes system enhancements and resolves root causes of recurring issues.
- Stays current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in business systems analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, IT, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis, IT systems implementation, or ERP coordination.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and business application support.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and system integrations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, and SiteTracker.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools and reporting platforms.
- Background in change management and user adoption strategies.
- Continual learner with ability to stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
- East Coast preferred
