Appiphony builds applications for the Salesforce AppExchange and is funded by Salesforce Ventures. Our company is looking for a curious and technical Junior Implementation Specialist / Engineer to join our team of 40 people.
You will be responsible for helping our customers successfully evaluate, implement, and adopt our Salesforce apps. This role is ideal for someone with a technical background who enjoys working with customers, solving problems, and learning new platforms. You don’t need to be a Salesforce expert on day one, we’ll teach you Salesforce and our products. The ideal candidate will have a college degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, and have a genuine interest in helping users be successful.
Responsibilities:- Guide prospects and customers: Act as a technical resource across the customer journey, guiding prospects through successful trials by advising on setup, configuration, and best practices.
- Provide technical support: Answer technical questions from prospects and support existing customers by investigating and resolving technical issues they encounter.
- Collaborate on implementation: Join calls with customers to help configure apps, troubleshoot issues, and answer questions in real time.
- Assist with demonstrations: Help prepare and deliver demos to customer stakeholders during evaluations and educate customers on new features as our products evolve.
- Bridge the gap: Collaborate with product and engineering teams by relaying customer feedback, common issues, and improvement ideas.
- Learn and grow: Build expertise in Salesforce and our app ecosystem over time, developing a strong mix of technical, customer-facing, and product knowledge.
- A technical background (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field)
- Comfort learning new technologies and explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A customer-first mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities at once
- Willingness to learn Salesforce, our products, and best practices for implementations
- Extreme sense of ownership
- Proficient in Google Workspace
- Nice to have: Familiarity with SaaS products, cloud platforms, or any previous Salesforce experience (admin, user, or coursework)
- Live in Chicago or the surrounding Chicagoland area so you can attend occasional company on-sites.
