Position Summary

Conservice is seeking a Junior Network Administrator to join our IT team. This role supports the day-to-day management of network infrastructure, endpoint security, identity and access management, and cloud services. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with hands-on experience in networking fundamentals, device management, and ticketing systems who thrives in a fast-paced hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure including switches, access points, firewalls, and VPN Servers (UniFi / OpenVPN experience a plus)
  • Administer DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VLAN configurations across corporate and remote sites
  • Support user lifecycle processes (onboarding/offboarding) in Google Workspace, Duo, and identity management platforms
  • Manage endpoint security and device compliance across Windows, macOS, and Chrome using MDM solutions (Intune, Hexnode, or Kandji)
  • Respond to and resolve Tier 1/2 network and connectivity issues via EWOK(Internal Ticketing) or Jira ticketing
  • Assist with cloud infrastructure tasks in AWS, including basic IAM, VPC, and security group management
  • Participate in vulnerability remediation workflows and support PCI DSS compliance documentation
  • Maintain accurate network documentation including topology diagrams, IP address management, and runbooks
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on infrastructure projects and capacity planning

Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or network administration
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and the OSI model
  • Experience with at least one MDM or endpoint management platform (JAMF, KACE, NinjaOne, or similar)
  • Familiarity with identity and access management tools (Google Workspace Admin, Bitwarden, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux (Ubuntu)
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification (completed or in progress)
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or equivalent cloud certification
  • Experience with CIsco & UniFi networking gear (UDM, Cisco managed switches, APs)
  • Exposure to security and compliance platforms such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or PDQ
  • Home lab or personal project experience demonstrating self-driven technical curiosity (e.g., Proxmox clusters, self-hosted services, automation scripting)
