About Sonic Electronix
Since 2000, Sonic Electronix has been the "X-Factor" in the consumer electronics industry. We are a premier online destination for car audio, headphones, and pro-audio gear. Our team is energetic, professional, and passionate about delivering "audio bliss" to our customers. We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with deep NetSuite expertise to join our finance team and help us maintain the high-frequency rhythm of our e-commerce operations.
The Role
As our Junior NetSuite Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our daily financial integrity. You won't just be "crunching numbers"; you will be managing the flow of data across our ERP system to ensure our financial reporting is as high-fidelity as the audio gear we sell. You will handle everything from multi-channel reconciliations (Amazon, eBay, Website) to assisting with month-end closes.
Key Responsibilities
- NetSuite Management: Oversee daily entry and reconciliation of financial transactions within NetSuite, ensuring data integrity across all sub-ledgers.
- Accounts Receivable & Payable: Manage high-volume AP/AR workflows, including vendor invoice processing, payment scheduling, and customer refund reconciliations.
- Inventory Accounting: Work closely with the warehouse team to reconcile inventory counts and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) within NetSuite.
- Bank & Channel Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and third-party payment gateways (PayPal, Amazon Pay, Affirm) against internal NetSuite records.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheets, P&L statements, and customized management reports using NetSuite’s saved searches and reporting tools.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement NetSuite workflow improvements to automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual entry errors.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience, specifically in an e-commerce or retail environment.
- NetSuite Proficiency: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP (required). Familiarity with SuiteCommerce or e-commerce integrations is a major plus.
- Excel Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas).
- Attention to Detail: A "perfectionist" mindset when it comes to data accuracy and reconciliation.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to collaborate with departments from the Warehouse to the CEO’s office.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
What We Offer
You’ll get sweet discounts on all the audio and electronics your ears and wallet can handle, but the fun doesn’t stop there. A list of our perks include:
- Competitive compensation package, including salary, bonuses on hiring goals, and company merit-based bonuses.
- Entrepreneurial, can-do passionate team.
- Driven work environment that recognizes, respects and appreciates results.
- Discounts on all the gear we sell.
- No red tape or difficult access to management.
