Description
We are seeking a talented Microsoft Dynamics Developer to join our PTEMS team. In this role, you will design, develop, customize, and support solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service). You will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that drive business transformation and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Solution Development:
• Design, develop, and implement customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service).
Customization & Configuration:
• Configure Dynamics modules to meet business requirements, including entity creation, form design, views, business rules, and process automation.
Integration:
• Integrate Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and middleware (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate).
Requirements Analysis:
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
Testing & Deployment:
• Conduct unit testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage deployment of customizations and updates.
Support & Troubleshooting:
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Dynamics 365 solutions, including performance tuning and issue resolution.
Documentation:
• Create and maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and processes.
Best Practices & Compliance:
• Ensure solutions adhere to Microsoft best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements."
Requirements:
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service).
• Proficiency in Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and development (JavaScript, C#, .NET, Power Platform).
• Experience with Dynamics 365 APIs, web services, and integration tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in - Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience with MS Dynamics products at the Department of Veterans’ Affairs
• Experience with Azure services (e.g., Logic Apps, Azure Functions).
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.
• Experience with data migration and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for Dynamics 365.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prior experience collaborating with Veterans Affairs stakeholders to optimize CRM workflows and enhance service delivery.
• Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) within a federal agency environment.
• Proven knowledge of Department of Veterans Affairs operations, policies, and programs, with an emphasis on client-facing technology solutions
• Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum
• Active Federal Government public trust clearance
