315, LLC builds and operates Cairn, a healthcare revenue cycle management platform running on .NET and Microsoft Azure. We're hiring a junior C# developer to join our engineering team and contribute to an active codebase modernization - translating existing Visual Basic modules into clean, maintainable C#. You'll work directly with the architect who built the platform, learning healthcare billing systems from the ground up while writing production code from day one.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Translate existing VB.NET modules into modern C#

- Build and maintain web application features across the Cairn platform

- Write clean, well-documented, testable code against an MSSQL database

- Participate in code reviews with the senior architect who built the platform

- Support and extend API and web service integrations

- Follow secure development practices appropriate for a HIPAA-regulated environment

WHY THIS ROLE

This isn't a maintenance job. You'll be part of a defined modernization effort , writing new C# code against a production healthcare platform used by medical practices across Georgia. You'll learn directly from the engineer who architected the system - someone with deep institutional knowledge of healthcare billing, claims processing, and payer integrations. For a junior developer, this is rare: real production responsibility, structured mentorship, and a project with a beginning, middle, and end.

We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.

Requirements

- 1-3 years of professional experience writing C# on .NET (internships and substantive project work count)

- Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts

- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and version control workflows (branching, pull requests, code review)

- Ability to read and understand existing code in order to translate it accurately

- Self-directed work habits - you'll be remote, and we trust you to manage your time

- Comfort asking questions and learning in a mentorship-driven environment

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience, completed bootcamp programs, or a demonstrated portfolio of .NET/C# work will be given equal consideration- 1-3 years of professional experience writing C# on .NET (internships and substantive project work count)

NICE TO HAVE

- Exposure to Visual Basic .NET or legacy .NET codebases

- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, DevOps)

- Any experience with healthcare billing, EDI transactions, or HL7 messaging

- Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms

Benefits

- Annual salary: $80,000-$100,000

- Individual medical insurance premium 100% employer-paid (dental and vision plans available at employee cost)

- 401(k) with employer match up to 3%
