About the role  

TMS Global is seeking a talented Key Account Manager to join our team in the USA. You will work remotely, however regular travel will be required to client sites, the volume of which will be dependent on your location.

As the Key Account Manager, you will be accountable for driving commercial growth by cultivating strong, multilayered client relationships whist understanding client business challenges.  You will shape and deliver opportunities that offer measurable value, whilst focusing on identifying and converting growth opportunities. within existing accounts and new business.

You will have full accountability for the commercial success and growth of the assigned accounts, with a primary focus on client relationship development and strategic engagement, operating as a partner between the clients’ needs, TMS and market opportunities.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading revenue growth across assigned accounts through strategic relationship development, whilst owning the P & L incorporating forecasting, budgeting, growth and margin optimisation.
  • Overseeing senior level engagement activities including quarterly BSC reviews, strategic planning sessions, and stakeholder mapping
  • Managing growth initiatives across both existing clients and new prospects, ensuring proposals are commercially compelling.
  • Acting as a strategic advisor to clients, offering guidance that anticipates needs and influences long-term decision making.
  • Ensuring that insights from client discussions, feedback, and surveys are translated into growth actions and opportunities.

 About you  

To be successful in the role, the following skills are essential:

  • Proven experience in client leadership, strategic relationship building, and business development within marketing operations, retail activation, or display/print management.
  • Strong track record of achieving commercial growth through deep client engagement and solution selling.
  • Experience mapping complex organizations to identify decision‑makers and influencers.
  • Demonstrated success winning new business.
  • Ability to understand client business models, pain points, and market dynamics to shape relevant, value driven solutions. 

A deep understanding of shopper marketing, procurement, production ecosystems and commercial solution design would be desirable as is a resilient, growth and driven mindset.
