Korean to English Translator and/or Editor – (Remote – ongoing basis)

Job Description:
We seek an experienced Korean-to-English or English-to-Korean translator and/or editor to join our team.
The work is for our U.S. government client and requires full U.S. Citizenship to translate vital records, legal documents, official certificates, and academic transcripts. The role will consist of translating and editing various types of documentation.
Requirements
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
1. A U.S. citizen based in the USA.
3. Bachelor’s degree in translation or an equivalent qualification.
4. A minimum of two to five years of proven experience as a translator and/or editor.
5. Reliable, able to meet deadlines, and highly productive.
6. A team player with excellent communication skills.
7. Must be equipped with up-to-date Windows software.
8. Excellent formatting skills.
9. Comfortable with one-to-two-day deadlines.
10. Able to provide per-word rates for either translation, editing, or both.
11. Willing to accept assignments as needed.
