The Launch Internship is an eleven-week paid internship program for students aspiring to be engineers and seeking an opportunity learn about the finance industry.
As a Launch Intern, you will join us in a premier destination of learning and mentorship. During the 11-week program, you will be immersed in the finance industry, collaborating with experienced engineers on projects that have impact on our firms and global capital markets. You will have the opportunity to network and socialize with peers and even connect with senior leaders at Citadel.
At Citadel, our engineers work in small teams to turn the best ideas into high-performing and resilient technology. With short development cycles, work rapidly goes into production, whether we're releasing new features, improving efficiency or reducing operational risk. We create systems architectures, develop platforms and build web frameworks-all critical to our business. We use state-of-the-art tools and apply innovative techniques including distributed computing, natural language processing, machine learning and more.

- Learn and grow personally and professionally through project work and curated development programming
Your Skills & Talents:
- Currently a sophomore pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or STEM related field
- Intermediate proficiency in at least one coding language
- Ability to communicate effectively in a collaborative, complex and highly technical team environment
- Intellectual curiosity and passion for solving challenging problems using technology
