Position Summary:

As an FP&A Lead Director, you will play a pivotal leadership role within the Network Finance organization at CVS Health, reporting to the Executive Director, Network FP&A. In this role you will lead a team that includes two direct reports (one Senior Manager and one Manager) within an overall team of 6-8 colleagues, providing financial planning and performance management leadership across the full Network P&L — encompassing Medicare/Medicaid or Commercial/Large Client network revenue and cost of goods sold (COGS). You will serve as the primary financial partner to the Network Pricing and Business teams, translating network strategy into rigorous financial plans, forecasts, and margin performance insights including driving accountability across budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close processes. This role oversees a highly complex Network P&L representing more than $130 billion dollars in pharmacy revenue and COGS across all commercial and government-sponsored segments.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including advanced financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting; experience within a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM), managed care, or broader health services environment preferred

  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, with a strong track record of coaching, developing, and leading high-performing finance teams

  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex financial data for senior leadership

  • Ability to travel up to 5% (including plane)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mastery of problem solving, decision-making, and business intelligence in a complex, data-driven environment

  • Adept at cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder partnership, and translating network strategy into financial plans

  • Mastery of growth mindset — agility, continuous learning, and developing others within a high-performance organization

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; equivalent years of related professional work experience may substitute

  • Master’s Degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
