About the Opportunity

Pragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing technology company building advanced AI-powered infrastructure and products for enterprise customers.

We are seeking a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the company's most strategic technical deployments while helping establish the operating model, engineering standards, and technical direction of the forward deployment function.

What You'll Do
  • Work directly with customers to understand technical requirements and operational challenges.

  • Build, deploy, and customize production solutions in customer environments.

  • Develop integrations, automation, APIs, and internal tooling.

  • Translate customer feedback into actionable product and engineering requirements.

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across application and infrastructure layers.

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to improve platform capabilities.

  • Own projects from technical discovery through deployment and iteration.

  • Develop reusable solutions that can scale across multiple customers.

  • Improve deployment processes, documentation, observability, and reliability.

  • Act as a technical advisor and trusted engineering partner to customers.

What We're Looking For
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.

  • Strong programming experience in Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar languages.

  • Experience building and deploying production software.

  • Strong systems, API, integration, and debugging skills.

  • Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

  • Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.

  • High ownership and ability to independently drive projects.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with AI/ML systems or infrastructure.

  • Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure experience.

  • Experience at a startup or scale-up.

  • Experience deploying software into complex enterprise environments.

  • Experience with LLMs, model serving, or AI agents.

  • Experience building developer tooling or automation.
