Lead Front End Software Engineer responsible for guiding technical direction in Angular development, collaborating with backend teams, and mentoring peers in a consulting environment.
Callibrity is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is remote based but must work on U.S. Eastern or Central Time working hours. Will not consider non-US based candidates.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you are a leader by example, a subject matter expert in modern front-end development, and you help guide strategic technical direction for our clients. You will work closely with client stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, high-quality user experiences while influencing front-end architecture decisions.
This role is heavily focused on Angular development, with the ability to collaborate effectively with backend teams working in Java-based environments. - Act as a trusted advisor to clients and a thought leader in front-end architecture and development
- Lead front-end design decisions and recommend best practices for Angular-based applications
- Partner with backend teams to integrate with Java-based services and APIs
- Mentor, train, and upskill Callibrity peers and client team members
- Understand and align technical solutions to broader business goals
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactively identify challenges and recommend scalable, maintainable solutions
- Demonstrate and promote best practices in software development (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, Test Automation, TDD)
- Stay current with emerging technologies and front-end trends
- Thrive in a collaborative consulting environment with cross-functional teams
- Build strong client relationships and be someone they can rely on for delivery and direction
Requirements:
- 5+ years of front-end development experience with a strong focus on Angular
- Proven ability to lead front-end architecture decisions and influence technical direction
- Experience integrating front-end applications with Java-based backends
- Strong consulting mindset with confidence in making recommendations to clients
- Professional experience in corporate IT and/or consulting environments
- Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and tools
- Experience with Git / GitHub, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Successfully complete Callibrity’s CoderPad and Code Pairing challenges
- Strong interpersonal skills: influencer mindset, professionalism, accountability

Preferred:
- Experience with additional front-end frameworks (React, etc.)
- Exposure to Java/Spring Boot environments
- Experience with API design and integration patterns
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or modern deployment environments
