Overview

HYER Boots is looking for a Lead Graphic Designer to help shape and elevate our visual expression across digital channels. This role is for a highly creative, driven, digitally native designer who can translate brand direction into compelling, modern creative.

As a creative steward of the HYER brand, the Lead Graphic Designer will own digital execution while helping push the brand forward through thoughtful design, strong systems, and ongoing creative exploration. This role is responsible for delivering consistent, elevated, and effective visuals across every consumer touchpoint, supporting marketing, ecommerce, and brand storytelling initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate brand and creative direction into compelling, on-brand design across campaigns and channels 
  • Support the visual execution of HYER’s brand across digital marketing channels, ensuring a consistently high creative bar 
  • Act as a creative partner to marketing and ecommerce teams, offering strong visual perspectives and ideas 
  • Design primarily in Figma, building scalable, modular assets and systems that work across channels 
  • Develop and maintain design systems, templates, and component libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency 
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite (wherever appropriate), to create and refine high-quality visual assets, imagery, animations, and compositions 
  • Lead the design of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, paid media, social, and web assets 
  • Ensure creative adapts seamlessly across formats while maintaining a cohesive visual story 
  • Collaborate with copy, marketing, and external partners to bring campaigns to life 
  • Support and guide creative testing initiatives, producing and iterating on asset variations across channels 
  • Use performance insights and feedback to inform creative decisions without compromising brand integrity 
  • Explore new formats, layouts, and visual approaches to continuously evolve the brand’s creative expression 

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of graphic design experience with a strong focus on digital, brand, and consumer marketing.
  • Proven experience operating at a Lead or Senior Designer level, owning creative execution and standards.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma for digital design and collaboration.
  • Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop (Illustrator and InDesign a plus).
  • Demonstrated success designing for multiple marketing channels including email, paid media, social, web, and ecommerce.
  • Strong creative judgment across typography, layout, color, imagery, and composition.
  • Ability to balance creative vision with speed, iteration, and real-world constraints.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in footwear, apparel, or lifestyle brands.
  • Familiarity with creative testing frameworks and performance-driven design.
  • Experience shaping or evolving a brand’s visual system.
  • Knowledge of or experience working in the Western or Western Boot industry.

A portfolio of published work is required and should demonstrate: 

  • Strong brand thinking and visual craft
  • Multi-channel campaign execution
  • Digitally native and system-based design
