DIRECTV is seeking a seasoned Product Manager with deep experience with OEM Product integrations for streaming applications and a strong foundation in business development and strategic planning. This role will be responsible for building partnerships with strategic partners to assess opportunities, build out the business case, build out the executive pitch and stakeholder it through the prioritization process to transition to execution and delivery. This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and financial strategy, driving long-term product direction while optimizing capital allocation across the marketing organization.
The ideal candidate combines product intuition, analytical rigor, and financial acumen, with the ability to build external partnerships, influence executive stakeholders and translate strategy into measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Product Leadership
- Define and drive long-term product strategy for streaming experiences, aligned with business growth and market positioning.
- Conduct ongoing market, competitive, and consumer analysis to inform roadmap prioritization.
- Build strong relationships with 3rd party partners while developing opportunities.
- Partner with executive leadership to shape multi-year product vision and investment strategy.
Capital Management & Marketing Alignment
- Lead capital allocation planning across the marketing organization, ensuring efficient deployment of budget against growth initiatives.
- Develop frameworks to evaluate ROI on marketing spend, including Development Capital, Operational Expenses, marketing costs around Acquisition, Retention, and Engagement, and Partner Fees.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Growth teams to optimize customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV).
Product & Business Development Integration
- Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships (content, distribution, platform integrations) that enhance DIRECTV’s portfolio of products.
- Support deal modeling, business cases, and go-to-market strategies for new initiatives.
- Translate business development opportunities into scalable product features and experiences.
Analytics & Performance Management
- Establish and monitor KPIs tied to product performance and capital efficiency.
- Leverage data to drive decision-making, experimentation, and forecasting.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership with clear financial and strategic implications.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as a bridge between Product, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Development Factories, Ad Sales and Business Development teams.
- Influence without authority across complex organizational structures.
- Mentor junior product managers and contribute to product excellence standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3 – 5 years required, 8+ years desired experience in Product Management, with significant exposure to streaming platforms (i.e. Roku, Amazon FireTV, Samsung TV, Google TV, Apple TV, Vizio, and LG).
- Proven track record in strategic product planning and execution at scale.
- Strong background in business development, partnerships, or corporate strategy.
- Experience managing or influencing marketing budgets, capital allocation, or financial planning.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent advanced business degree.
- Experience in D2C streaming, OTT platforms, or digital media ecosystems.
- Proven track record of building external partnerships from ideation to value delivery.
- Familiarity with growth marketing levers (performance marketing, lifecycle, retention).
- Strong financial modeling and unit economics expertise.
- Experience working in highly matrixed, fast-paced environments.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $122,194 - $221,818
Low (N1): $122,194 - $183,241
Mid (N2): $128,625 - $192,885
High (N3): $141,488 - $212,174
Top (N4): $147,919 - $221,818
