Success in this role requires equal parts craft, systems thinking, and collaboration. You'll work closely with UX, Product, and Engineering teams to transform complex functionality into experiences that feel modern, refined, and trustworthy.
What You'll Do
  • Define and evolve the visual language for operator-facing digital experiences.
  • Create intuitive and visually compelling interfaces across machine displays, embedded systems, and connected products.
  • Establish scalable UI frameworks, interaction patterns, and design system foundations.
  • Partner closely with UX Designers to transform complex workflows into clear and effective user interfaces.
  • Define approaches to typography, iconography, color, spacing, hierarchy, motion, and information design.
  • Help ensure experiences are cohesive across products, platforms, and touchpoints.
  • Explore and communicate future-state concepts through visual design, prototypes, and interactive experiences.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation of designs.
  • Provide design direction and craft leadership through critiques, reviews, and collaborative working sessions.
  • Champion accessibility, usability, and visual excellence across the design process.

What You Will Have:
Creativity: Knowledge of the approaches, tools, and techniques for promoting creative, original thinking and ability to apply it to a variety of business situations.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

User Interface Design: Knowledge of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction; ability to design and develop intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces that meet business goals and user needs.
What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience
  • Experience within UI Design
  • Portfolio that shares current and past work
  • We're looking for someone who sees UI as more than decoration.
  • You understand how visual design influences comprehension, confidence, efficiency, and trust.
  • You have a strong point of view on typography, iconography, motion, color, layout, and visual hierarchy, but you know when to prioritize customer needs over personal preference.
  • You can create order from complexity and recognize opportunities to elevate products from functional to exceptional.
  • Most importantly, you believe great products should have a recognizable identity. You understand how design systems, visual language, and interaction details work together to create experiences that feel cohesive, intentional, and memorable.
