Your mission?
Be a resource to all aspects of Pricefx’s rapidly expanding global business, with a specific emphasis on its USA/Americas (80-90%) and APAC/Australia (10-20%) internal and extenal operations. After an intensive onboarding during your initial 3 to 6 month period, you will be expected to work independently and manage a high volume of contracts, compliance matters, and special projects. The role is ideal for someone that deeply enjoys the day-to-day life of being a lawyer (logic, rules, laws, process) but is a business-person at heart (makes risk-adjusted choices, closes deals, finds ways for everyone to win, and owns results). The ideal candidate is someone that can get along with most people, while having the strength to take on conflict when necessary.
You will be in charge of…
- 50% of Your Time (Commercial):
- Driving Legal’s day-to-day effort on all commercial contracting in the Americas, specifically with all customers and partners.
- Serving as a “first stop” resource for the Americas/APAC commercial team.
- Assisting with revisions and implementation of best-in-class commercial contracting processes, including playbooks, form agreements, negotiation strategies, and contract automation.

- 20% of Your Time (Compliance):
- Support the broader Legal, Risk, and Compliance team with implementing compliance processes.
- Serving as a “first stop” resource for the US Human Resources team.
- Assist with data privacy and security issues, including supporting Pricefx’s ISO and SOC certification processes and keeping up to date with legal and regulatory developments in data privacy and security.
- 30% of Your Time (Everything Else):
- Providing support as needed concerning legal matters in the Americas (e.g., lease matters, vendor review, and negotiation, marketing matters, etc.).
- As comes with the legal territory, handling fire drills with a bias towards action and speed, without abandoning our foundation of staying calm and remaining true to our measured, big picture approach.

- Minimum 5-10 years of legal experience with an emphasis on technology transactions and related issues (e.g., data privacy and security, intellectual property, export controls).

- Commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.
- Experience with (1) SaaS companies, (2) venture-backed, high-growth companies, and (3) international companies are each a plus.
- Special skills, expertise, or experience that helps diversify the existing toolkit of skills in the Pricefx legal department.
