Legal Operations Coordinator
SpotHero is looking for a Legal Operations Coordinator who will be a key member of SpotHero’s Legal & Compliance Team, working closely with individuals across departments to help implement and execute on processes, practices and systems that improve the efficiency, effectiveness and performance of the Legal & Compliance Team, facilitate change and manage costs. This individual will join a small, but mighty, team that provides support on all legal and compliance matters across the organization and is committed to getting things done, in the right way, for each of our constituents.
We are looking for a self-starter and creative problem solver who can hit the ground running and grow in the role, ultimately serving as the operational backbone of the Legal & Compliance Team and supporting cross-functional efforts to provide support across SpotHero. The ideal candidate is highly-motivated, has a strong foundation of operational and project management experience, has excellent communication and collaboration skills, has unparalleled organization and time management skills, has a strong attention to detail and an aptitude for enhancing productivity and efficient, and is able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, high growth environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable pivoting quickly from focused heads down work to real time responses to time sensitive questions on everything from the mundane to the sublime, all in the span of an afternoon.

What you will do:
- Define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives.
- Manage development and tracking of the Legal & Compliance Team’s goals consistent with the company’s strategy and provide project management support.
- Provide paralegal and process support for all aspects of the company's business, including particularly commercial contracts, corporate law and Legal & Compliance Team initiatives.
- Create and implement processes for the storing, retrieval, and sharing of commercial and corporate documents.
- Assist in reviewing NDAs and other basic commercial contracts.
- Coordinate among Legal and Finance & Accounting in processing of the Legal & Compliance Team’s invoices.
- Manage vendors and other service providers to optimize efficiency and reduce spend, while ensuring quality in services.
- Stay current on industry best practice and leading legal department processes and influence continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement new tools and technology to support the team and the organization.

What you have:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Strong work ethic, high integrity and 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Detail-oriented problem solver who works well in a team environment and has excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
- Excited to work in a start-up environment and to grow with the team.
- Ability to work independently, with appropriate oversight, as well as part of a team of attorneys and business professionals.
- Preferred:
- Experience with e-commerce or technology company.
- At least 2 years of operations experience and an interest in the legal field.
- Expertise in using Excel/Google Sheets/Google Docs/PowerPoint.
- Experience utilizing contract management software (Ironclad is a plus!).
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
